Dr. Justin Sargent
As a brief background of who I am, I grew up in Louisa, KY. Graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2014. I graduated from Marshall University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. I worked as a PT for over 6 years across outpatient orthopedics, acute care, and inpatient rehab settings, treating all ages and varied diagnoses.
Compassion, inclusion, relationships with family and friends, kindness towards animals.
“You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will.” – Stephen King
At PhilanthroPT, I provide dry needling, and create goal-oriented & patient-specific exercise programs. Some conditions I enjoy treating are orthopedic surgeries, balance, deconditioning, and more! Something patients have to deal with that I want to fix is difficulty enjoying things they used to/want to enjoy. Also, I want to help with better communication and understanding in the field of Healthcare.
I like working here because of the 1-on-1 patient visits; getting the opportunity to build relationships and understand what is important to patients.
