I grew up in the small town of Lawrenceburg, KY. Once graduating high school, I moved to Lexington, KY, and received my Associate’s degree at BCTC. I then transferred to EKU, where I received my Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy. I remained in Lexington, KY, and a few years after graduating college, I met my husband at work and now have two beautiful children — Amelia and Bennie.
My background consists of working with the geriatric population and dementia in senior living communities and some home health experience. I decided to begin working at PhilanthroPT at the request of my sister-in-law, Erica Kennedy (who also works at PhilanthroPT). The company is primarily PTs, and they decided it was time to bring on an OT! Now I am here and so very grateful for the opportunity to serve the adults-with-disabilities population.
Core Values: Integrity, respect, and compassion. I have always been drawn to helping others, and I am so grateful to have found a career that allows me to embrace these values, as I am often assisting very vulnerable populations. Compassion for others is vital to making breakthroughs and helping others achieve what they believe is unachievable, while respect and integrity have always come naturally to me, thanks to my parents and family.

I want to fix the patients’ need for an advocate in the healthcare system to get the care they deserve and to give them purpose in their daily life through increased independence.
I love the autonomy that I am given and the ability to help others that often do not receive the quality of care that they deserve, as sometimes they fall through the cracks. I am able to provide care to these individuals thanks to PhilanthroPT, who decided to care and make a difference for those individuals.
